Experimental conditions: capillary column, 25 cm effective length, 35 cm total length × 75 μm id; mobile phase, pH 3.0, 10 mM citrate buffer containing 45% v/v ACN; separation voltage, −20 kV; electrokinetic injection for 3 s at −5 kV; detection, UV at 214 nm. Solutes: 1, hydroquinone; 2, phenol; 3, o‐cresol; 4, phloroglucinol.
