Asset Details

  • Description:
  • Seasonality of U.S. suicide by sex and age, for weekdays (a), dates (b), and months (c), 1973–1985 (based on McCleary et al., 1991, Table 3). The seasonality index (PRE) is the R2 statistic associated with the regression of a suicide time series on dummy variables coded for weekday, date, and month; thus, higher PRE indicates greater seasonality.
