- The first four CV scans of the methanol oxidation reaction on GCE coated with a) AuCu0.47, b) AuAg0.38, c) AuPd0.18, d) Au HNRs in a Ar‐saturated 0.5 m NaOH + 0.5 m CH3OH solution at a scan rate of 50 mV s−1. Catalyst loading: 0.32 mg cm−2 in each case. The legends (1 to 4) correspond to the number of scan. Note that the geometric surface area was used directly for calculation of the current density.
