  • Effect of starvation and temperature upshift on cwGAPDH activity in S. cerevisiae wild‐type and tdh mutant strains. Exponentially growing cells were resuspended in sterile water and incubated for 3 h at 37°C. GAPDH activity was measured in intact whole cells prior to (non‐starved) and after starvation. A: Wild‐type S. cerevisiae S173‐6B and S173‐29A strains starved either in presence or absence of cycloheximide. B: Non‐starved and starved single and double tdh mutants. Results represent triplicate determinations and are expressed as means±S.D.
