  • Comparison of displacements ux, uy and uz and rotations rx, ry and rz in the DTU 10MW reference wind turbine blade. Results determined using BECAS and a SHELL FEM in ABAQUS for load case BLC1 (flap and edgewise bending) and BLC2 (torsion), cf. Table . Relative difference is defined as Rel. Diff.=(dSHELLFEM−dBECAS)/ max(|dSHELLFEM|) × 100, where dSHELLFEM and dBECAS are the displacements determined using the shell finite element model and BECAS model, respectively.
