  • Sequential composite anterior segment reconstruction can be used to create a single outflow conduit when segments V and VIII need to be reconstructed. Iliac artery allograft (a) or 6-mm PTFE conduit (b) can be used. In this case (b), a double PV was reconstructed by resecting the recipient PV bifurcation from the explanted recipient liver and performing reanastomosis on the back bench, with 90-degree rotation from horizontal to vertical on the donor graft to avoid twisting with implantation
