  • Two‐D gel profiles of H. pylori 43504 and hup::cat isogenic mutant strains under acid stress condition. Proteins extracted from 1×109 cells incubated at pH 5.5 for 90 min were analyzed by two‐dimensional gel electrophoresis. (A) Wild‐type strain 43504, (B) hup::cat mutant. Numbered circles indicate proteins whose levels change. All of them were identified by mass spectrometry (Table ). The gel is representative of three independent experiments
