Asset Details

  • Description:
  • RIG‐I‐mediated sensing of influenza virus genomes. The replication of influenza A virus in infected cells leads to the generation of progeny genomes that can be recognised by RIG‐I by virtue of the fact that they possess a 5′‐triphosphate moiety. RIG‐I recognition initiates a signalling cascade that culminates in the induction of an antiviral gene programme, including the type I IFNs.
